We’re excited to share a major update to the Dakota Central TV app that gives you more flexibility and control over your recordings. Whether you’re catching up on your favorite shows or saving those can’t-miss moments, this update makes managing your content easier than ever.
What’s New?
1. Deleted Folder
When you delete a recording, it doesn’t disappear right away. Instead, it moves to the Deleted folder, similar to the Deleted Items in your email.
Why is this helpful?
- It gives you a chance to recover something you deleted by mistake.
- You can review and permanently delete items when you’re ready.
Tip: To free up space for new recordings, make sure to clear out the Deleted folder regularly.
2. Saved Folder
Have a favorite show or an important event you want to keep forever? The Saved folder is your new best friend!
- You can store up to 10 hours of recordings permanently.
- No more worrying about the one-year expiration—your saved content stays until you decide to remove it.
How to Manage Your Recordings
Here’s a quick guide to help you take advantage of these new features:
- Open the Dakota Central TV app.
- Navigate to Recordings.
- To delete a recording, select Delete (it will move to the Deleted folder).
- To free up space, go to the Deleted folder and remove items permanently
5. To keep something long-term, move it to the Saved folder.
